For children aged 2 to under 6 years, the starting dose is 2.5 mL once daily, which can be increased to a maximum of 5 mL once daily if needed, while for adults and children 6 years and older, the starting dose is either 5 mL or 10 mL once daily depending on symptom severity, with a maximum of 10 mL in 24 hours. It's important not to use this medication if you have ever had an allergic reaction to it or any of its ingredients. Additionally, if you are taking tranquilizers or sedatives, you should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using it, as these can increase drowsiness.
