Curist Acid Relief is a medication that helps relieve and prevent heartburn caused by acid indigestion and sour stomach, especially after eating or drinking certain foods and beverages. It works by reducing the amount of acid your stomach produces. For adults and children aged 12 and over, you can take 1 tablet with a glass of water, either to relieve symptoms as needed or to prevent them 10 to 60 minutes before meals, but do not take more than 2 tablets in a 24-hour period. It's important to avoid this medication if you are allergic to famotidine or other acid reducers, and if you have trouble swallowing or notice blood in your vomit or stools, you should see a doctor.
