View full FDA label ↗Extra Fast Coltalin is a medication that helps relieve symptoms from colds, the flu, or hay fever, such as minor aches and pains, sore throat, headache, runny nose, and sinus congestion. It works by reducing pain and fever while promoting drainage in the nasal passages. Adults and children aged 12 and older can take 2 tablets every 4 hours, but should not exceed 6 doses (or 12 tablets) in a day. Children aged 6 to under 12 should take 1 tablet every 4 hours, with a maximum of 5 doses (or 5 tablets) in 24 hours. It's important to note that taking more than the recommended doses can lead to severe liver damage, especially if you're also consuming alcohol or taking other medications that contain acetaminophen.
