Leader Acid Reducer is a medication that helps relieve and prevent heartburn caused by acid indigestion and sour stomach. It works by reducing the amount of acid your stomach makes, which can help ease discomfort. For adults and children aged 12 and older, you can take 1 tablet with a glass of water, either to relieve symptoms as needed or to prevent them 10 to 60 minutes before eating or drinking things that usually cause heartburn, but do not take more than 2 tablets in a day. It's important not to use it if you are allergic to famotidine or other acid reducers, and you should consult a doctor if you have had heartburn for more than three months or if you experience severe symptoms. Additionally, be cautious if you are taking other prescription medications, as acid reducers may interact with them.
