Publix Infants Dye Free Gas Relief is a medication designed to help relieve the discomfort of gas in infants, which can happen due to swallowing air or certain foods. It works by helping to break down gas bubbles in the stomach, making it easier for your baby to pass gas. To use it, shake the bottle well and measure the dose using the enclosed syringe; for infants under 2 years old and weighing less than 24 pounds, the starting dose is 0.3 mL, while children over 2 years old and weighing more than 24 pounds can take 0.6 mL. You can give this medication as needed after meals and at bedtime, but do not exceed 12 doses in a day. It's important to keep this medication out of reach of children, and if an overdose occurs, seek medical help immediately.
